PURPOSE: Segmented fan assembly is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by removing each fan assembly element from a rotor hub. CONSTITUTION: A shaft direction inner shroud segment(122) forms a part of ring assembly(100) around a rotor of a dynamo electric machine. A shaft direction inner shroud segment includes a rotor hub interface for physically connecting to a part of a rotor hub(102). A set of a fan blade(120) is extended from a surface of a shroud segment to a shaft direction and is physically connected to a surface of the shroud segment. A shaft direction outside shroud segment(124) is physically connected to a set of the fan blade. |
