PURPOSE: A parking control method and system are provided to visually display that the vehicle is parking to a following vehicle with a flickering of the light and a visual letter display; and execute a parking control. CONSTITUTION: A parking control system comprises a parking space searching part(140) which searches the parking space; a parking path generation part(150) which generates the parking path in a parking space searched; and a visual display part(130) which displays a parking status to the following vehicle with the flickering of light or the visual letter display. The visual display part is composed combining more than one of elements among a backup light which is pre-installed in the rear part of the vehicle, a brake light and an emergency light; or composed of an additional light or a visual display unit. The visual display part displays a parking status to the following vehicle with a different visual from a pre-installed backup light, a brake light and the signal of an emergency light. The parking control system additionally includes a voice output part(170) which exports the voice and a voice output part shows the parking status to the following vehicle acoustically while, before or after the visual display part visually displays the parking status. The parking control system additionally includes a communication part(180) which communicates with inside or outside and the communication part sends the parking information related to the parking to the following vehicle while, before or after the visual display part displays the parking status to the following vehicle. The parking control method comprises a step that displays visually the parking status to the following vehicle with the flickering of light or the visual letter signal; and a step that searches a parking space; and the parking path stage which generates the parking path in a searched parking space.
