The lubricant pump unit comprises a pump housing (10) with multiple pump housing sections (11,12,13). One or multiple pump elements are provided in the central pump housing section for supplying the lubricant. Another pump housing section with a lubricant reservoir (19) is provided above the central pump housing section, and the third pump housing section is provided below the central pump housing section. A supply flow measuring device (21) is provided upstream or downstream of the pump elements for determining an actual volume flow rate of the supplied lubricant.
