PURPOSE: A file backup apparatus and a method thereof between network systems are provided to smoothly process a real-time backup by preventing duplicated file backup and to synchronize original and copy files while maintaining complexity of a system. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring unit(21) is connected to an original folder and obtains time information of original files. A file detecting unit(23) sets up a files selection condition by using state information and time information and detects the original files which satisfy the file selection condition. A file backup unit(25) duplicates the detected original file. The state information of the original folder includes a size of the original folder, the number of the original files, a file storage type, and access time. |
