PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing mixture extract of oriental medicinal materials is provided to suppress allergic immune response and to inflammatory material generation. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating allergic diseases contains mixture extract of oriental medicinal materials including 1-7 weight parts of Osterici Radix, 1-7 weight parts of Saposhnikoviae Radix, 1-15 weight parts of Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba, 1-7 weight parts of Scutellariae Radix, and 11 weight parts of Astragali radix. The extract is prepared by adding purified water to the mixture oriental medicinal materials, heating for 5 hours by hot water extraction, filtering the extract, compressing at 40°C, and freeze-drying. |
