[Also in Division A4] A parallelepiped wallet comprising front and back walls 11, 12 and side walls 13 one of which forms a lid, has the side walls made of elastic material covered on the outside by layers of fabric 18 which connect the sides to the front and/or back wall by the fabric extending over the edges of the front and/or back walls. The side wall forming the lid has a flap 15 which secures to the front wall. The side walls may also have fabric covering them on the inside, this fabric also joining to the front and/or back walls and may form pockets into which the elastic material is introduced. The wallet may be used to carry delicate articles, e.g. X-ray films 20 gripped between two facing conveyer belts moving over pulleys, the elastic wallet yielding instead of buckling.
