PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating ballast water is provided to prevent the formation of scales on the surfaces of filters by facilitating the washing of gelated foreign materials deposited on the surfaces of the filters. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for treating ballast water includes a housing(110), a filtering part(120), and a washing water feeding part(130). The housing includes an inlet and an outlet for ballast water. The filtering part includes a plurality of filters(121) installed in the housing. Ballast water through the inlet is filtered through the filtering part. The filtered water is discharged through the outlet. The washing water feeding part includes a plurality of washing water inlets at one side of the housing. Washing water for washing the filters is introduced into the filters. |
