PURPOSE: A flexible substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent increasing of stress to a substrate by pressurizing an organic material membrane using a substrate or a mold opposed to a supporting substrate. CONSTITUTION: A first transparency fiber and a second transparency fiber are crossed at transparency fabric. A flexible mother substrate(120) comprises a resin layer. The transparency fabric is coated by the resin layer. The resin layer fills up space between the first and the second transparency fibers. A planarization film(135) is arranged on the flexible mother substrate.
