PURPOSE: An electric power steering system is provided to assemble without an extra process of measuring a tension of a belt, to reduce a vibration and a noise at the same time and to reduce a production cost and a process when assembling the motor housing and the rack housing. CONSTITUTION: An electric power steering system comprises a motor housing(303), a rack housing(321), and a position identification method(330). The motor housing comprises a housing end(309) which is formed to be made eccentric to a motor shaft(311), a fastening flange(305). The rack housing comprises an insertion hole(323) and a mounting flange(325). The position identification method is formed at the motor housing and the rack housing. |
