The present invention consists in an absorption process with chemical reaction for the intake of carbon dioxide, and further acid gases such as sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide, from the environment and combustion gases from burners and inner combustion engines that use fossil fuels; the purpose of the invention is to acquire carbon bonus according to the Kyoto Protocol related to the climate change and produce lithium carbonate of purity (=98%). The process is performed in a horizontal pulveriser pilot absorber using a solution of lithium hydroxide at 4.8% as an absorption liquid, obtaining lithium carbonate as a by product, which is decanted, filtered and dried to be commercialised, this having a purity higher or equal to 98%, also obtaining sulphites, nitrite and lithium nitrite. These latter elements remain in solution in the container so as to be used. The process may retain dust particles resulting from the gases to be washed, which are separated using polychloride and silic ate flocculants, thus forming a supernatant removed by spillage.
