PURPOSE: A humidifier is provided to prevent a gear and gear unit from being damaged by preventing the gear installed in end of the rotary shaft of a disc assembly from colliding to a gear unit connected to a motor. CONSTITUTION: A humidifier comprises a housing, a water tank, a tray, a base(70), a rotary shaft(430), and a connection unit. The water tank is installed in the housing in order to be separable. The tray comprises a storage chamber storing water which is supplied from the water tank. The tray is installed in the base. The base comprises a guide unit which guides movement of the tray. The rotary shaft is rotatably installed and includes a plurality of discs. The connection unit is installed in the rotary shaft and connects a disc driving unit, which supplies power to the rotary shaft, and the rotary shaft. The connection unit includes an internal gear connected with a gear unit which included in the disc driving unit. The internal gear is slantly generated.
