PURPOSE: A medium composition containing corn starch, soybean powder, and yeast extract is provided to cheaply produce Bacillus at high productivity. CONSTITUTION: A medium composition for producing Bacillus of high concentration contains 15-25 g/L of corn starch, 4-6 g/L of soybean powder, and 4-6 g/L of yeast extract. The medium composition additionally contains 0.1-1 g/L of dipotassium phosphate(K_2HPO_4), 0.01-0.1 g/L of magnesium chloride(MgCl_2), 0.01-0.1 g/L of calcium chloride(CaCl_2), and 0.1-1 g/L of sodium chloride(NaCl). The Bacillus includes Bacillus subtilis or Bacillus licheniformis. A method for producing Bacillus of high concentration comprises a step of inoculating Bacillus to the medium composition and culturing. |
