OLIVE OIL-AND HONEY MIXING METHOD FOR THE CREATION OF A NEW PRODUCT USABLE IN THE NUTRITION AND COSMETOLOGY DOMAIN

Novelty: it is disclosed the production method of a new olive oil-based product characterised by association of honey, natural herbal extracts and condiments or fruit juice. Three-stage preparation method: 1) honey heating at 40 deg.C; 2) mixing of honey with natural herbal extract, condiments (vinegar, balsamic vinegar etc) or fruit juice (citrus fruit in preference) into a mechanical blender; 3) addition of the resulted mix into olive oil and mechanical high-velocity stirring of all ingredients until complete incorporation of the olive oil and creation of a viscous emulsion. Advantages: high nutritional value and enhanced taste due to the ingredients in use; conservation of the honey and olive oil physicochemical features.
