PURPOSE: A vertical shaft turbine for wind power generation having a dual airfoil blade is provided to improve the efficiency of a turbine by applying the lift to an outer circumference of the turbine. CONSTITUTION: A vertical shaft turbine for wind power generation having a dual airfoil blade comprises upper/lower plates, a rotary shaft, and a blade(300). The upper and lower plates are formed into a streamlined shape. Each peripheral surface of the upper and lower plates is formed in a curved shape, and the center is formed into a plane. A blade upsetting part of the blade is formed on inner surfaces of the upper/lower plates in a circumferential direction. A diameter of the rotary shaft is 2~0.3 times as big as the diameters of the upper/lower plates. The blade connects the upper and lower plates at the blade upsetting part. The blade comprises a large main airfoil and a small auxiliary airfoil(320). First and second wind guide surfaces of the main airfoil are curvedly formed toward the inside of the rotary shaft from an outer periphery of the blade upsetting part. The first and second wind guide surfaces of the auxiliary airfoil are formed at predetermined curvature. |
