METHOD FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF UMBILICAL RING IN GASTROSCHISIS OF NEWBORNS

A method for reconstruction of the umbilical ring in gastroschisis of the newborns provides for tailoring the umbilical ring in the median line in the course of the first operation. The edge of the aponeurosis above and beneath the split umbilical ring is separated. To the left of the defect, the umbilical cord is located at this area. The separated ends of the split umbilical ring around the umbilical ring are sutured with non-resorbable sutures on the right. Then the skin cushion of the umbilical ring and subcutaneous fat are juxtaposed and sutured around the tailored umbilical ring.
