PURPOSE: An amplitude modulation method of a spread signal capable of increasing a data transfer rate and frequency use efficiency is provided to load information by subdividing amplitude into more than two levels. CONSTITUTION: An amplitude modulation method of a spread signal includes the following steps. A first data signal is inputted. A spread signal is generated by applying a spreading code to the first data signal. A second data signal is inputted. The spread signal is outputted with amplitude corresponding to the value of the second data signal. The spreading code diffuses the first data signal with a fixed diffusion coefficient. The second data signal consists of a 1 bit or 2 bit signal. The spread signal is outputted with 2^M different amplitudes in case the bit number of the second data signal is M.
