PURPOSE: An image sensor unit and an image decoding device thereof are provided to clarify a contrast of a lit object and a background by efficiently shielding reflected light. CONSTITUTION: A first light guide body(14) emits light of a first light source to a lit object. A second light guide body(21) emits light of a second light source to the lit object. An imaging device(16) images the light reflected from the lit object. A light receiving unit(18) converts the collected light into an electric signal. The second light source and the second light guide body are placed while having a return path through which the lit object passes between the second light source and the second light guide body. A light shielding unit(1) for shielding a part of the light of the first light guide body is placed between the first and the second light guide bodies.
