A ceiling installation lift for a multimedia projector may be installed in a ceiling cavity. Said ceiling installation lift is provided with a base plate (2) in the shape of a frame that can be attached to a raw ceiling and a platform (5) that may be lowered from a non-use position to a use position. Synchronized lifting spindles (3) that may be driven in both rotational directions an: provided for lowering and raising the platform (5), said lift spindles being in operative connection with spindle nuts (4).
