PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to reduce the region of a switching element using two magnetoresistive elements and one switching element. CONSTITUTION: A magnetoresistive element(11) includes two unit elements(MTJ1,MTJ2). A switch element(12) selects the magnetoresistive element according to an address signal applied from the outside. The switch element supplies current to the magnetoresistive element to change the magnetic direction of free layers(1,5) into a second direction. A bit line(13) supplies current to the magnetoresistive element to change the magnetic direction of the free layers into a first direction. The bit line is electrically connected to a first magnetic free layer through a contact plug(15). |
