PURPOSE: A display assembly substituted for a room mirror is provided to monitor the back side of a vehicle with a display panel by displaying vehicle driving information inputted from an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) of the vehicle on the display panel. CONSTITUTION: A display assembly substituted for a room mirror comprises a housing(130), a rear camera(136), a display panel, an image processing part, and a control part. The housing is detachably inserted into a housing insertion part(120). In a state where the housing is inserted into the housing insertion part, the rear camera takes a photograph of the back side of a vehicle, and the display panel is exposed to a driver. The image processing part displays images on the display panel. The images are processed by the image processing part, and the control part displays the images on the display panel.
