The dispenser has a rigid outer container (1) made of cardboard, where a flexible pouch (2) containing a beverage is housed in the container. The pouch includes a tap (3) movable between storage and operating positions, where the tap is held by its neck (7) in an opening (4) formed in a wall (5) of the container. A lifting unit (8) includes a strip (11) accessible from the outside and movable between a low position in which the lifting unit is supported on the bottom (12) of the container and an upper position in which the lifting unit is spaced from the bottom for lifting the pouch.
