PURPOSE: A sales management system for products with an identification number using an internet and a method thereof are provided to display the possession relation between a product with a unique identification number and a real possessor and examine whether or not the product exists, thereby preventing the interception of the product. CONSTITUTION: A customer information management unit(310) receives information about a product possessor and product information and manages the sale of a product. A product information registration unit(321) registers the product information including the identification number of a product. A product information update unit(322) updates information about the registered product.
