A dental implant consists of a self-tapping member (1) comprising a threaded profile (2) provided with a radical flank (2a) and a cortical flank (2b), a plurality of recesses in the form of concave portions (4a, 4b) being formed in each one of flanks. The concave portions (4a) formed in the radical flank (2a) of a coil of the threaded profile (2) are located at a distance from a longitudinal axis (A) of the self-tapping member (1) which is greater than the distance of the concave portions (4b) formed in the cortical flank (2b) of the same coil, whereby each coil of the threaded profile (2) has a shape slightly inclined towards a radical portion (Ia) of the implant, thus allowing to improve the strength of the dental implant with respect to compression loads and thus its characteristics in terms of primary stability.
|
