The method involves executing a sorting algorithm (20) for sorting into categories, which is stored in a computer device (14) e.g. mobile telephone, and determining category among the categories for each batch of data. An action is selectively triggered based on the category, where the algorithm is obtained in advance by a data sample generated for each category. The algorithm is determined by another computer device (12) i.e. computer server, based on the data received by the latter device for the sample and consecutive iterations of a definition algorithm (18) executed in the latter device.
