Disclosed is a usage data analysis system including an application server, selectable identifiers and selectable views. The selectable identifiers are associated with items to enable selection of items for display as filtered items according to the selected identifier. The selectable views are configured for presenting data associated with the filtered items, including at least one of: demographic data associated with users of the items; numbers of users of the items; comparison data between the filtered items; geographic data associated with the location of the users; and tag map data based on the filtered items having tags associated with the items, and presenting the relationship between the tagged items. The application server is configured to generate a user interface (2200) on a client computer device for displaying resource item usage. Generating a user interface includes generating data representing a display, in a first part of the interface (2220), of available resource items associated with usage data. Usage data represents usage of the resource items, which are selectable using the interface. The application server also receives data representing a selection by a user, using the interface, of a plurality of resource items from the available resource and generates data representing a display of the selected resource items in a second part of the interface (2234). The application server is also configured for filtering the usage data to select one or more usage data relating to the selected resource items and receiving data representing a selection by the user, using the interface, of a view associated with at least one property of the selected resource items. The application server is further configured for selecting ones of the filtered usage data that are associated with the at least one property and generating data representing a report for displaying, in a third part of the interface (2218), the view using the selected ones of the filtered usage data.
