PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing sulfur generating catalyst is provided to extend the life of the catalyst by improving the chemical resistance characteristic and the heat resistance characteristic of the catalysts. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing sulfur generating catalyst includes the following: boehmite is coated on the surface of gamma alumina; and one or more active substances selected from a group including lanthanum, nickel, chrome, manganese, cobalt, and iron are coated on the gamma alumina. The gamma alumina is reacted with sol containing the boehmite. 10 to 30 parts by weight of the boehmite is included with 100 parts by weight of the sol. 20 to 40 parts by weight of the gamma alumina is reacted with 100 parts by weight of the sol. |
