<p>The method involves arranging two processor cores (1, 2) on a semiconductor substrate (8). A time period for processing an instruction is set by pulsing of the processor cores. Another time period for processing the instruction is set for each processor core. One of the processor cores (2) is provided with an asymmetric pulse, and the other processor core is provided with a symmetric pulse. The pulsings have equal number of clock pulse edges. The asymmetric pulse represents a combination of long and short clocks. An independent claim is also included for a device for operating a microprocessor.</p> |
