<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method and a measuring device for a minute amount of metals in which the minute amount of metals can be measured promptly through inexpensive and simple operation without performing preprocessing on a minute amount of metal components existing in a liquid. <P>SOLUTION: A measuring device 1 for a minute amount of metals comprises a heater 2 which heats, as needed, a measuring target liquid comprised of a dense alkali solution or the like containing a minute amount of metal components, a flow cell 3 including a flow passage for measurement through which the measuring target liquid is passed, and electrochemical measuring means 4 which uses electrodes for measurement comprised of an active electrode, a counter electrode and a reference electrode provided within the flow passage for measurement of the flow cell 3 to perform electrochemical measurement according to stripping voltammetry and, on the basis of resultant data, determines a concentration of metals in the measuring target liquid. The measuring target liquid is passed by setting a shorter diameter of the flow passage for measurement into a predetermination relation with concentration diffusion layer thickness of the measuring target liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
