<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce road noise while improving controllability and stability. <P>SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire with a pair of bead cores 51, a carcass layer 6 disposed between the bead cores 51, a bead filler 52 disposed outside each bead core 51 in a tire radial direction, and a belt layer 7 disposed outside the carcass layer 6 in the tire radial direction in which a direction of the inside or outside of a vehicle at a mount time is indicated, a cross sectional area of the bead filler 52 at a meridian cross section is set larger at an outer mount side than at an inner mount side. A steel reinforcement layer 9 is disposed where steel cords of substantially 90 degrees with respect to the tire circumferential direction are provided in parallel between the inner most belt 71 of the belt layers 7 in a tire circumferential direction, and the carcass layer 6, and a dimension in a tire width direction is 10% or larger and 50% or smaller of an effective belt width of the belt layer 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
