<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector for a flat cable which prevents deterioration in waterproof performance even if the flat cable receives a tensile force. <P>SOLUTION: A waterproof connector for a flat cable 1 comprises: a flat cable 10 comprising an insulating coating part 12 in which a conductor wiring 11a is coated with an insulation film 12b; a terminal 20 coupled to the conductor wiring 11a; and a connector housing 50 fitting with a mating connector so that the terminal 20 and a mating terminal are connected. The waterproof connector further comprises a resin mold part 30 integrally molding an extending end part 12c of the flat cable 10 so that a coupled part 60 coupling the conductor wiring 11a to the terminal 20 is covered. The resin mold part 30 comprises a waterproof mold part 31 covering the coupled part 60 and a hold mold part 32 covering the flat cable 10 at a rear side of the waterproof mold part 31 in an extending direction of the flat cable 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
