<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of extending hot-water suppliable time when power failure occurs. <P>SOLUTION: This water heater includes: a power failure detection part 12 for detecting power failure of commercial power supply 34, and a remote controller display restriction part 14 that works as follows. When power failure of commercial power supply 34 is detected by the power failure detection part 12, and at the same time either of a plurality of remote controllers 40 and 50 is set to be in a priority mode; the remote controller set to be in the priority mode only indicates a first display including the operation status of a water heater body 1 in display sections 41 and 51. Meanwhile, other remote controllers set to be in a non-priority mode indicate a second display that shows less display information than the first display and consumes less power for display than the first display in the display sections 41 and 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
