<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin display device with input function that has high display quality. <P>SOLUTION: A display device with input function 100 comprises: positional information reading means 110 for acquiring positional information on the basis of detecting light reflected by positional information patterns 16; and displaying means 120 that has the positional information patterns 16 representing positional information on a display region 5 and performs display on the basis of information read by the positional information reading means 110 from the positional information patterns 16. The displaying means 120 includes: a first substrate 11 that has permeability with respect to the detecting light; a second substrate 300 disposed opposite to the first substrate 11; and partition walls 37 that have the permeability with respect to the detecting light while partitioning a space between the first substrate 11 and the second substrate 300 into a plurality of partitions.
