<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein in a fuel tank configured to adjust pressure on a discharge side of a fuel pump 4 and return surplus fuel to inside of the fuel tank, the fuel returned to the fuel tank includes large amount of air bubbles and the air bubbles adhere to a surface of a device within the fuel tank such as a canister device, gather together to gradually grow and are peeled from a structure when the sizes of the air bubbles reach a certain size, causing peeling noise at this time; and thus suppress peeling noise by suppressing sizes of air bubbles when they are peeled from a device within a fuel tank. <P>SOLUTION: Recesses located in a lower cover 2 of a canister case 1 within the fuel tank to store air bubbles in fuel to be returned into the fuel tank include first and second partition ribs 23, 24 dividing the recesses into a plurality of regions or notch portions 25 communicating inside and outside of the recesses with each other by lowering height of outer peripheral ribs 21 serving as dam portions of the recesses from bottom faces 22 of the recesses, as means suppressing the sizes of the air bubbles when they are peeled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
