<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a navigation device comprising control means, which communicates with an in-vehicle electronic toll collection device (in-vehicle ETC device) and gives a message on the basis of the communication result via notification means, to prevent a driver from incorrectly recognizing that an ETC card is inserted in the in-vehicle electronic toll collection device (in-vehicle ETC device) when the ETC card is not inserted in the in-vehicle electronic toll collection device (in-vehicle ETC device). <P>SOLUTION: When a toll road is included in a route retrieved by route search means (9), control means (11) gives a different message depending on whether an ETC card (4) is inserted in an in-vehicle electronic toll collection device (2) or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
