<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and a display control method of the same, allowing a user to easily confirm an adjustment of an angle of view and focusing at the time of photographing even in a Log gamma photographing state. <P>SOLUTION: The display device comprising; Log gamma photographing means which converts a gamma characteristic of an imaging signal to a Log gamma characteristic which minimizes influence of blown out highlights and blocked up shadows, and records; signal processing means which applies a gamma correction on an imaging signal input to display means; signal processing means which emphasizes an imaging signal input to the display means; a first mode in which photographing is performed in a standard gamma; a second mode in which Log gamma photographing is performed; and switching means which switches between the first mode and the second mode, emphasizes the imaging signal by applying predetermined processing with the signal processing means using a set value for the first mode in the case of the first mode, emphasizes the imaging signal by applying predetermined processing with the signal processing means using a set value for the second mode in the case of the second mode, and performs gamma correction processing with the signal processing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
