<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproduction device and reproduction method thereof capable of allowing a user to obtain the content of an image even during image control by switching voice to be reproduced into voice in a language related to subtitles when the image with the subtitles is displayed by reduction. <P>SOLUTION: An image reproduction part 204 displays an image with subtitles for reproduction on a display. The reproduced image is processed for reduction displaying by an image adjustment part 320 on the basis of a user operation, and arranged within a control panel.
