<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely and efficiently preventing the resprout of a cut-down tree's stump to its tissue degradation, without using any chemical agent having adverse effects on the environment, large-size machinery, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preventing the resprout of a cut-down tree's stump by covering the stump with a light-blocking sheet is provided, comprising: a step of providing the cut surface of a stump with bores to insert an insect attractant thereinto; a step of inserting the attractant into the bores; and a step of covering a light-blocking sheet on at least a part of the cut surface of the stump into which the attractant is inserted and fixing the sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
