<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timing detection device capable of timing detection with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A timing detection device in a receiver for receiving a signal obtained by interposing a signal obtained by mapping data and pilots on subcarriers in a multiplexed manner at equal intervals and adding a guard interval, between signals obtained by mapping data on subcarriers and adding a guard interval, includes: a DFT section 121 for converting the reception signal in a time domain into the reception signal in a frequency domain; a replica F generation section 122 for generating a replica obtained by mapping pilots on the subcarriers; a replica F multiplication section 123 for multiplying the reception signal in a frequency domain by complex conjugate of the replica for each corresponding subcarrier; an IDFT section 124 for the reception signal in a frequency domain after the multiplication of the replica into a signal in a time domain; and a peak detection section 125 for converting the signal in a time domain into power, detecting a maximum peak of the power value and outputting the detection timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
