<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound machine 100 that reduces heater off time for cooling a fixing heater when the fixing heater is heated after disconnection abnormality of a thermistor is detected. <P>SOLUTION: A compound machine 100 is provided that includes: disconnection detection means 405 that detects disconnection of a thermistor 125 when a fixing heater 124 is supplied with power; disconnection time storage means 406 that causes a predetermined non-volatile memory 402 to store a disconnection time that is a time point when the disconnection of the thermistor 125 is detected when the disconnection of the thermistor 125 is detected; time determination means 401 that determines whether or not a subtraction time obtained by subtracting the disconnection time stored in the non-volatile memory 402 from a power-on time that is a time point when an own machine is applied with power again exceeds a heater-off time when the own machine is applied with power again; and heater heating means 403 that immediately applies power to the fixing heater 124 when the subtraction time exceeds the heater-off time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
