<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric generator which can suppress heat damage of a thermoelectric transducer even to exhaust gas having high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoelectric generator 7 comprises: an exhaust pipe 70 for circulating exhaust gas G; a cooling-water tube 71 for circulating cooling water W; and a thermoelectric transducer 72 provided so as to be sandwiched between an outside part of the exhaust pipe 70 and an outside part of the cooling-water tube 71, coming into contact with these outside parts. In the thermoelectric generator 7, a low heat-radiation coating 73 coated with a coat material of reducing thermal emissivity or heat absorptivity is formed in a region of at least a portion of: a thermoelectric transducer exhaust pipe side part 72a of the thermoelectric transducer 72, coming into contact with the exhaust pipe 70; an exhaust pipe thermoelectric transducer side outer part 70a of the exhaust pipe 70, coming into contact with the thermoelectric transducer 72; and an exhaust pipe thermoelectric transducer side inner part 70b which is an inner part of the exhaust pipe 70 and just opposite to the exhaust pipe thermoelectric transducer side outer part 70a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
