<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the generation of density unevenness of an image even when a charge dot is generated in a longitudinal direction of a photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: discharge current detection means 30 for detecting a discharge current; movement means 40 for moving the detection means 30 along a rotation axis direction of a photoreceptor 1; acquisition means for acquiring a discharge current distribution in the direction along the rotation axis direction of the photoreceptor 1 by moving the detection member 30 by the movement means 40; comparison means for comparing two discharge current distributions acquired by the acquisition means; correction means for correcting an exposure amount of an exposure device with respect to an image density signal when exposing a position in the rotation axis direction of the photoreceptor 1, corresponding to an area determined to include a difference of the discharge current equal to or more than a predetermined amount between the two discharge current distributions as a result of the comparison by the comparison means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
