<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a halt/movement determining method of a movable body provided with a receiver without performing a positioning operation. <P>SOLUTION: A halt/movement determining method comprises the steps of: receiving satellite signals of a GPS satellite; storing a signal strength of the satellite signals in a predetermined time m; storing a signal strength of the satellite signals in a predetermined time j different from the predetermined time m; calculating a difference between the signal strength stored in the predetermined time m and the signal strength stored in the predetermined time j; calculating a value obtained by accumulating the difference between the signal strengths for a predetermined period as a parameter; determining a threshold value; and comparing the parameter and the threshold value, determining a moving state in a case where the parameter≥the threshold value and determining a halted state in a case where the parameter<the threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
