<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the tooth jump of a rack in a lens unit. <P>SOLUTION: A lens unit includes: a lead screw having a continuous thread, and rotationally driven; a lens holding portion for holding a lens; a U-shaped rack portion coupled to the lens holding portion, in which the lead screw is inserted, and having a pair of inner surfaces and a coupling portion for coupling the pair of inner surfaces; a first tooth form portion arranged on one of the pair of inner surfaces of the rack portion, and formed in parallel with an opposite part of the thread; and a second tooth form portion arranged on a side close to the coupling portion rather than a position opposite to the first tooth form portion in regard to a center of the lead screw on the other of the pair of inner surfaces of the rack portion, and formed in parallel with the opposite part of the thread. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
