<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus having random number generating capability and prime number determining capability, in which a prime number is generated more efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes a plurality of determination means each for determining whether or not an input numeral is a prime number and outputting the numeral when the input numeral is a prime number. The apparatus acquires a plurality of random number seeds and associates one of the plurality of random number seeds with each determination group to which the one or more determination means belong, and inputs a random number generated using the random number seed to the determination group associated with the random number seed. At this time, the apparatus initializes a random number generation series for generating a random number by using the random number seed of interest, generates the random number by using the random number generation series, divides a bit stream of the random number into bit streams each having the predetermined number of bits, and outputs a numeral indicated by each bit stream obtained by the division to one of the determination means constituting the determination group associated with the random number seed of interest. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
