<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which suppresses disengagement with a pinion gear by reducing deflection of a rack configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In a lens barrel, sliding parts 31a, 31b slidably engaged with a guide shaft 86, which is held by a barrel bottom plate 71 and extending in a direction of an optical axis Y, are provided to a prism holding member 31. A rack gear 31c (rack tooth) disposed in a direction parallel to the guide shaft 86 is formed on a rack configuration 311 of the prism holding member 31. By transmitting a driving force from a prism motor 32 to the prism holding member 31 through engagement of a prism drive gear 38 as a pinion gear with the rack gear 31c, the sliding parts 31a, 31b make the guide shaft 86 to slide and the prism holding member 31 to move along the guide shaft 86. A rib 71a integrally formed to the barrel bottom plate 71 is placed between a back surface 31h and the guide shaft 86 with a space to the back surface 31h opposite to the rack gear 31c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
