The system (100) has a transmission device (126) for transmitting electrical power of fuel cell device (102) to battery device (124) or to load (122). The transmission device is provided with an input unit connected to fuel cell device and an output unit connected to battery device. A transmission control device is set to perform regular operation of the transmission device, if input voltage is above preset value. Other transmission control device is set to perform unregulated operation of the transmission device, if input voltage is below preset value. An independent claim is included for a method for transmitting electrical power of fuel cell device to battery device and/or to load.
