The rack (1) has a luggage container (3) formed to occupy a closing position (G), an intermediate position i.e. input position, and a loading position. A support system (20) supports opening and/or closing movements by which the container is moved from one position to another position. The system attenuates the opening movement by which the container is moved from the closing position to the intermediate position, and allows the closing movement by which the container is moved from the intermediate position to the closing position to be performed in a damping-free manner. The support system is designed as a shock absorber system, a parallel damper system and a pressure reservoir system. The rack and the container are formed as plastic injection molded parts.
