<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of reducing torque by wearing a seal member sufficiently and surely irrespective of an interference of a seal lip portion and capable of improving the resistance of intrusion of foreign matter into a bearing. <P>SOLUTION: In the rolling bearing, the seal lip portion 9 that makes contact with the inner ring 1 is provided at the tip end of a seal member body 8. The cross section of the seal lip portion 9 is of a V-shaped curve formed by bending a waist portion which becomes an intermediate portion in the radial direction, so as to create a release recessed part in the outside surface opposite a bearing space and of a tapered shape such that a protruding part 12 at the tip end side from the waist portion becomes narrower as it goes to the tip end. The seal member 5 imparts thrust to the inner ring 1 against the displacement of the interference of the protruding part 12 in an assembled state into the bearing. The protruding part 12 is made of a high wear material that causes the protruding part 12 to be worn and changed into a noncontact state or a light contact state to an extent in which the contact pressure can be considered zero by using the bearing in a rotating state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
