<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem that a congestion notification delays if a delay between a packet relay device and a reception terminal increases, which causes reduction in communication quality. <P>SOLUTION: When it is determined that a flow is in a congestion state, a packet relay device 2 rewrites a field indicating a congestion state of a network in a packet header of a response packet ACK 16 to the flow that is received from a reception terminal 3 after the determination to a value indicating that the network is in the congestion state, and transmits the packet to a transmission terminal 1 as a response packet ACK (ECE) 17. Thereby, since congestion notification can be performed in a route from the packet relay device 2 to the transmission terminal 1, the route for congestion notification can be shortened by omitting a route corresponding to a part from the packet relay device 2 to the reception terminal 3 and a part from the reception terminal 3 to the packet relay device 2, and as a result, reduction in communication quality can be prevented even when a delay between the packet relay device and the reception terminal increases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
