<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless belt for an electrophotographic apparatus, the belt showing improved durability by preventing peeling or flexure cracks of a material that constitutes a base layer. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical endless belt 10 includes a base layer 12 formed of a composition containing an organic polymer. In the base layer 12, a reinforcing core material 14 comprising fiber is arranged along a circumferential direction in a spiral pattern from one end 12a to the other end 12b of the cylinder.
